Kodak flexographic plates range now covers both analog and digital offerings, providing flexo printers with more choice when selecting a technology that best meets their specific needs.

Package printers looking for a plate solution can choose from analog KODAK FLEXCEL Flexographic Plates and the MACDERMID Printing System Digital MUST, Digital RAVE and Digital EPIC Digital Flexographic Plates.

Analog
The FLEXCEL SRM plate is a medium durometer plate that enhances ink transfer on a range of substrates. The higher durometer FLEXCEL SRH plate provides best solid ink coverage and outstanding halftone resolution. FLEXCEL SRC is a lower durometer plate, targeted at the corrugated market.

Digital Flexo
The MACDERMID Digital MUST plate is a medium hardness plate for high end film and paper packaging requirements. Ozone and crack resistance, and high tensile strength, together to produce efficient long runs. Printers that produce packaging with demanding graphics, the high durometer of the MACDERMID Digital RAVE plate reduces dot gain in screens and minimizes banding due to press bounce. The Digital RAVE plate increases image sharpness with finer highlights and crisp text. Highly durable and reliable, Digital RAVE plates offer long runs, reduced tack and minimal dot wear.
