Materials used for Packaging

• Mesh bags are widely employed for perishable items like for packaging and storage of fruits and vegetables at local supermarkets.
• Jute bags are sturdy and can be trendy packaging materials. Jute sacks are used to package food grains, fertilizers etc. cloth bags in general, are employed for packaging a wide variety of items.
• To pack chemicals and pharmaceutical items, bags made of polyethylene material are very convenient. Multiwall Kraft paper is also used for such cases.
• Bags with high tensile strength, referred to as HT bags, are efficient packaging materials for food packaging.
• Plastic bags are handy, cheap, and convenient. These can be easily colored or printed upon.
