Mobile phones are one of the fastest growing consumer gods in the world. In such a scenario the packing and presentation of the product becomes all the more crucial. Mobile Phone Packaging Machinery

Packaging machinery for mobile phones are integrated with the rest of the machinery involved in the process of production. It works in conjunction with the assembling unit or the shipments it receives from the primary production unit.

The packaging process starts when the carton insert trays go through the loading area where relevant equipment is placed manually. After this, the complete mobile set is placed onto the insert tray in an automated manner. Simultaneously the control system deciphers the code on each individual phone so as to ensure that the correct piece is being placed in the correct place.

The machinery can differ based on the nature of its operation. There is usually a provision to place relevant equipments manually which cannot be incorporated automatically into the packaging. The machinery’s control system is capable of identifying the serial number of all the phones through the packaging process. Once this is done, the insert trays are placed inside the cartons which are labeled which in turn are placed inside labeled cases.

Packaging materials

Mobile phone packaging mainly consist of white or printed boxes. In case of the printed boxes the design could be standard or even customized as per the manufacturer’s desire. There is also a special box which allows Visi-grip inserts.

The insert tray material is subject to variance based on the product. For instance, it can either be a pulp or plastic insert tray. A Visi- grip insert tray is also used in certain cases depending on the product specifications.

Mobile phones are usually shipped in bulk shipping boxes or more secure wooden shipping boxes to reduce the risk of damage in handling of the shipments.
