It is widely known and believed that for smoother transportation, growth of brand value, enhance in quality and style, assortment of contained data; proper packaging is utmost necessary. And that in turn is performed by many sealer machines of various natures and applying different methods and different forms of energy.

Machineries and technologies employed

In general, we can categorize the packaging sealers into various groups as described here.

There are automatic FFS machines, of types like collar and vertical type. It works on automatic change of pouch length. It has one main motor and several feeding systems. There are flow wrap-up machines which employed photo electric registration mark system, lubrication system, and electronic coding devices.

There are commercially viable and widely used candy wrap up machines stacked in huge numbers. These are completely automatic, robust, compact and low on maintenance. Castor wheels are mounted on the main machine for easy movement and less labors on part of the machine. The machine has high speed counter, voltage control vector and temperature control on individual. Multi track FFS packaging sealers is very much out there making tobacco, pan, coffee powders, and detergents, teas in huge and high numbers. They use the same pneumatic device for coding, jacketed hopper, heating elements etc.

Then, it’s the turn of some highly economical and budget vertical packaging machines or else known as pneumatic intermittent machines. They employ PID based temperature controller, PLC based speed control and batch cutting, and nitrogen flushing devices are added externally.

Apart from all these, there are other many small scale packaging machines. Shrink packaging, strip packaging machines, semi-automatic stuffs packaging machine, auger based FFS packaging machines, flow wrap machines, etc and lots of more such ones.

Materials used for packaging

In automatic FFS machines, coding devices, nitrogen flushing etc is employed. The wraps up machines have temperature control, PLC machine control, 220v electric supply well as well. The candy wrap up machines use heat sealed laminated films as packing film. These find application in candies, toffees, chewing gums and nuts etc. multi track FFS packaging sealers use materials such as piston, volumetric cup, grains auger fillers etc.

The materials used in case for machines like vertical FFS machines are zipper pouches, batch cutting device, precision sealing and pneumatic coding device etc. along with above mentioned materials, different packaging machines also have other materials like rectangular pouches, stainless steals etc.
