Materials Used in Perfume Packaging
Perfume bottles are of different sizes, shapes, designs, and volume. The factor of elegancy and charming looks of the bottles becomes important for customer’s preference. Glass bottles are popular among customers.
Metallic cans are also in use for perfume packaging. These cans made up of lightweight aluminum. Cylindrical shape of the can fits into the choice of the customers generally. Some varieties of plastic cans are also gaining place in the market.
Tubes are also in use for perfume packaging. In some cases where safety and ease of handling becomes important tubes are generally preferred. Sprayers of varied dimensions fitted on the top of the bottles and cans.
Bottles and cans need plastic or metallic covering caps of different sizes and shapes to avoid exposure and dust.
Perfume packaging boxes are in prevalent use. Bottles and cans then put inside the boxes. Boxes come in different sizes and shapes. In case of some lightweight Perfume packaging paper, canisters are also under use. Lucrative and elegantly designed labels on the bottles, cans, boxes, and canisters give a complete look to the packing.
Machineries and Equipments employed in Perfume Packaging
Various kinds of equipments and machines are under application in perfume packaging industry. At every stage of process, a different machine or equipment finds its application.
- Liquefied perfume needs filling in the bottles or cans. Filling machines do this job. There are Pressure Filling machines with different capacities available for glass, plastic or aluminum cans in combination with natural pumps (Crimp-On, Screw-On, or Push-On), Screw-On caps, collars, and caps.
- In case of Perfume, it requires use of pressure pumping machines. Tubes, cans, and bottles Pressure filling ensures the spray period.
- Spray machines ensure right quality and quantity of perfume coming out in the form of spray. Mist spray pumps of different diameters employed depending upon the requirements.
- Capping machines place the caps and covers on the bottles, cans, and tubes.
- Bottles and cans require complete Anodization before filling operation begins. Anodization is necessary for creating a protective oxide layers on the aluminum jars and cans. Anodizers do this job for perfume packaging.
- Fully Automatic stick filler provides high-speed quality filling.
- There are separate machines for operations like blending, maceration, Chilling, filtering and color matching that fulfill customers’ needs.
- Shrink-wrapping and bagging equipments find their utility as per their requirement.
